Description
N numeric(x)
numeric(x) produces an integer or real number resulting from converting x, but fails if the conversion is not possible.
Parameters
- x
- a numeric string, real or integer value.
- returns
- integer value if result has not a fraction or too large, real otherwise, fail if conversion is not possible.
