Description

&pos : i
The value of &pos is the position of scanning in &subject.

The scanning position may be changed by assignment to &pos. Such an assignment returns fail if it would be out of range of &subject. &pos is a variable.

&pos and &subject are stacked when ? operator is performed and unstacked when it is finished.
